The Diaphragms
Description
This session will investigate the thoracic diaphragm as the central body diaphragm, and explore other body diaphragms found above and below. We will discuss the anatomy and function of each, anatomical relationships clinically significant to treatment and movement practices, and learn strategies for applying this knowledge to your practice.
Specific techniques for the thoracic diaphragm will be demonstrated, and a diaphragm treatment sequence will address the relationships between all the diaphragms we discuss and can be used as a stand alone treatment. A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR TREATMENT OFFERINGS.
These techniques fit easily into manual therapy and movement practices of all kinds, and could even be used in group movement sessions.
