Every quarter, my Pro Members and I meet to learn cool things, chat, troubleshoot and improve the way we practice. This quarters session is being opened to those outside this subscriber list, and will include two amazing guest speakers. The theme for this session is ALL THINGS STRANGE & UNUSUAL. Pour yourself a glass of something' and join us for this fun session.

We will begin by talking about the strange and unusual therapies/techniques we have experienced, or our clients/patients have told us about. The intention is not bashing of any intervention but rather explore why these things work, or maybe didn't work and to become more aware of all the “stuff” out there in the therapy world. Bring your stories, and experiences to share with the group, or maybe you do something strange and unusual that you want more people to know about. We want to hear about it!

This will be followed by a discussion about Tong Ren, led by Melanie Diamond, a treatment that shares similarities with acupuncture and is often done through distance healing. Melanie will show us the tools used by a Tong Ren practitioner and give us the experience of a session. Hopefully she'll have some time to give us some natural care, non-toxic DIY tips too!

To finish off our meeting, Karla Fernanda Berganza, will introduce us to a form of sound healing that she uses in her practice. She will talk about her role as Mayan time keeper, and how she uses Ayurveda and many other therapies to promote wellness. If you ask, she may even talk a little bit about her role in placenta encapsulation, birthing services and ceremonies, and pre and post natal care. Our meeting will end with Karla providing a group sound healing session, a great way to prep for sleep.

Registration includes certificate of attendance, brief topic outline, and recording of the session.

This WILL NOT be available for purchase after the session. So if you are interested, but might not be able to attend you can register and will still receive the recording. * Please see below for more info about the speakers.

Melanie Diamond is a personal trainer and Agatsu KB instructor with a big twist. She has studied, and practices a variety of unique therapies including Access Bars, NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), Tong Ren and a bunch of other cool techniques. She has a true desire to learn all there is to learn. She is also a forager! Her and her husband own a cattle farm in Saskatchewan, and their property is where most of the ingredients for her Wild Diamonds products come from. Melanie is a huge fan of the power of essential oils, non-toxic alternatives for everything, DIYs and shares her knowledge freely. I feel like shes probably listening to a podcast every second of the day, since shes always messaging me about this cool thing she learned or something I need to listen to. Her rose hip oil is a miracle for my skin, and her sleepy time balm (at least that's what I call it) is fantastic.

Karla Fernanda Berganza was born in Mexico City. Her journey started in 1998 with Universal Energy and Reiki, followed by study of the Egyptian Tarot. In 2009 Karla met a Mayan priestess who would later become her teacher. She learned how to read the Mayan calendar and be an "ajqij" (time keeper). Her mission as time keeper is to heal people and be able to help her community through the interpretation of dreams. She is also an Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner, Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopath Practitioner.

Karla is an opera singer and has sung with different opera companies in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Kitchener, produced Spanish Operas, sang with bands in Mexico, and recorded three albums in Mexico and Canada. Her work with sound therapy was a natural evolution, and is helping her clients to reprogram and heal emotional, physical, psychological & spiritual issues.
