How to Learn Anatomy
In this almost 2 hour lecture, you will learn strategies for making it a bit easier to learn, re-learn and retain anatomy knowledge. The focus is on skeletal muscle anatomy, but the concepts can be applied to any type of learning.
We will discuss learning anatomy based on location and fibre direction and how this tells us lots of information about what a muscle does, who it does it with and who it opposes. This can help you better understand movement relationships as you solidify your knowledge of anatomy and bring it more into your practice. We look at some examples, and some muscles that break the rules. We discuss the value of teaching to help you learn, and look at some samples of how teaching can not only help you keep your anatomy fresh, but generate you business.
A course outline and certificate is included in the presentation so that, upon completion, you are able to screen shot these documents to use in CE submissions, if you choose.
